My New Favorite Discipline Method!!!!

Kobe is a big tease and loves to pick on his little brother. One day, after being completely fed up with it, I decided to try a new tactic. This is what I came up with! He had to hug his little brother for one whole minute!!! You see, this might not work for everyone, but for us it works great because Kai LOVES to hug and Kobe DESPISES it....therefore it has been our perfect punishment!

Keegan's 12th Birthday!!! I think he got 2 very opposite types of gifts this year...A new journal and scripture bag and then ROCKBAND!!! What can I say? The kid needs to be well-rounded...He was very excited for both actually. He has been reading the Book of Mormon the last couple weeks and I'm super proud of my new little young man!!!

What a proud moment! This is Eric and Keegan on their way to Keegan's very first priesthood meeting session. They both look so handsome in their suits! I'm so excited for Keegan.

This was one of my little projects over Spring Break. I redecorated the boys' bathroom. It used to be a "sports" theme and I got tired of it. I was very happy with how it all came together. It was a lot of fun!

Its that time of year again...time for Grandpa to make his rounds and plow up our garden spot. He is so nice to help us with this. I'm sure he knows we would never get around to it if it wasn't for his help. We greatly appreciate it! Of course, the little boys can't resist a ride! They love it! They had so much fun playing out in the freshly plowed dirt! It reminded me of when I was little. I used to love to do that!

Funniest Little Kid!!!

It was so funny. One night it was bedtime and we were looking all over for Kai. We were yelling for him all over the house and he was nowhere to be found. I was actually starting to get a little worried, when one of the kids just happened to check in the cupboard. He apparently climbed in there to hide and then fell sound asleep. It was a pretty darn cute photo op...I hesitate to add that I'm pretty sure I know the reason he was hiding...there was a very potent smell coming from that cupboard...

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

This is our little tradition every year. We bring out the pretties and have a nice dinner for Valentine's Day. The kids feel pretty special, especially with the glasses. This is our way of trying to teach them some manners...it doesn't always help...but who knows...maybe it will make a diffence someday!

Sunny California....What is this????

I was sooo excited to go to Palm Springs last month and this was what was waiting for me when I got there...are you kidding me??? Anyone who knows me well knows that I love the sunshine, so I was a little disappointed at first.

Luckily, a couple days later, the sun did make it's grand entrance and it was a beautiful thing!!!

These are our good friends from Texas, James and Heather Edmundson. They are awesome. He is a caddie on the PGA Tour and they are always so good to us when we see them! This was the annual "Crawfish Boil" that they have every year for a bunch of the golfers.

My New Thing!!!

Hey Everyone! I'm excited about my new little thing I'm doing. It all started on my birthday when my hubby gave me the coolest gift! He got me purses....which I love, by the way!!! Well, I was thinking how cool it would be if I could sell them...well, sure enough...turns out I can! It's kinda funny cause I am usually not a big fan of the whole "home party" thing, but I guess it just took the right product for me to become a big fan! Anyway, they are the coolest thing! They were invented by a cute little Mormon Mom from Utah. She just had an idea and went with it and it has become a major hit! Anyway...the cool thing is that it is a purse with interchangeable outsides, so when you want to switch purses to match your outfit, you don't have to switch all your stuff over. You just grab the inside and stick it inside another shell. They have small bags and big bags. Here are some pics so it might make more sense. I'm excited to get started so if you are interested in purchasing, just let me know or if you would like to host a party, then you can earn free stuff, which of course is always cool. I am not a big "High Pressure" sales person and every party I do is just going to be a lot of fun! You can even do a catalog party or an open house style one where people just come and go as they please. I will be having my own party on Thursday, Feb. 11th and would love to see you all there! It will be an open house, so you can stop in and see what I'm talking about anytime between 6:30 and 8:30. Since I can't use the hostess rewards myself, I will be doing a drawing at the party and someone who attends will get the rewards! If you bring a friend, you can enter twice! Tell your hubbies about them too cause it's the perfect gift for your b-day or Christmas! They can always add to your collection. Anyway, I've rambled on long enough, but I just wanted to share.

The Latest from the Peterson Crew...

I just want to thank the person who decorated our yard so lovely!!! This was a fun surprise to wake up to a couple weeks ago. They really got creative with the forks and all. I have to say that this was our first big toilet papering and I am sure that we have one of Kortney's friends to thank for it. I guess we have been officially initiated into being the parents of a teen!

Happy Birthday to Me! I had a wonderful birthday! Eric impressed me this year with my gifts. He gave me purses (Miche bags) and they were really cute! That night I got another great gift with a Boise State win over TCU in the Fiesta Bowl (notice the Boise State attire...) It was a fun ending to a great day!

Aren't these kids so cute??? This was Kobe's birthday and we were getting ready to go to church, but had him open one gift before. (It was a set of scriptures.) It is hard to believe that he is 7 years old already. He is such a big boy and is so funny! I sure do love him a lot!

He really wanted a new bike because he thought his other one was for a little kid. He was pretty excited about this one that he had been checking out at the store.
